Description
This is the handbuilt one, and it's a thing of beauty: a George Longstaff touring tandem from the legendary Newcastle-under-Lyme frame builders, constructed from Reynolds steel with a matching rigid touring fork, full-length mudguards, and a sturdy tubular aluminium rear pannier rack.
It's a proper touring machine: reinforced rims wrapped in puncture-resistant Continental City Ride tyres, flat handlebars with bar ends, and riveted leather saddles for both captain and stoker.
The 27-speed drivetrain pairs a triple front chainset with a Shimano Deore long-cage rear derailleur on a 9-speed cassette, and stopping power comes from frame-mounted Magura hydraulic rim brakes. Custom-built, beautifully made, and ready for a proper adventure.
