The Raleigh Stride 2 is our front-loading long john, and it's the closest thing we have to a family car that runs on biscuits. You sit at the back while the cargo lives in a big bucket up front (protected by proper metal bars), and the steel frame shrugs off the school run, the tip run, and the weekly shop.
It'll carry up to 80kg of assorted children, dogs and shopping, and the Bosch electric assist means you roll up to the school gates looking fresh rather than feral.
